This can be done in pairs as an exercise or in front of an audience as a scene. It's a scene where every line, after the first line, starts with the words "I know". That's it.
It's a really powerful technique even though it's really simple. It's an alternative to YES AND.
Instead of expanding an improv scene, I KNOW focusses and drills down into specifics. I KNOW also closes the gap between your knowledge of the scene as an improviser and your characters knowledge of the scene.
